It was an honor to photograph Devon and Rachel as they eloped in their Santa Barbara Courthouse Mural Room wedding. It was a perfect Santa Barbara day! We celebrated their college rivalry, admired beautiful tiles and enjoyed the view from the clock tower.
Mural Room Ceremony
These beautiful brides wanted a low-key wedding with just a few guests in attendance. Devon was stunning in a sleek white pantsuit while Rachel wore a traditional white wedding gown. When they first saw photographs of the Mural Room they knew that was the perfect location for their wedding. They loved the gorgeous murals and the warm light that streams in late in the afternoon.
UCLA vs USC
Devon and Rachel is a house divided! LOL. The rivalry between UCLA and USC spans decades and they wanted to showcase their alma mater pride.
Portraits
Devon and Rachel chose to have a Santa Barbara courthouse Mural Room wedding because they loved the historic architecture and the colorful details like the tiles. For their portraits we explored the entrance, staircases, and the clock tower. The clock tower has the best view in Santa Barbara! Santa Barbara Hair & Makeup styled them for their day while Twisted Twig provided the gorgeous bouquets! And, of course, I’d love the capture your day for you!
