Billy and Jason met in Washington, D.C. nine years ago. Because Santa Barbara is Billy’s hometown they wanted a modern wedding at the Riviera Mansion. It is a perfect location for a pre-ceremony “meet-and-greet”, an outdoor wedding, and great dance floor for their guests to dance the night away.

Pre-Ceremony
Wild Hearts Events of Santa Barbara planned their special day. Emily of Santa Barbara Hair and Makeup pampered both moms with professional styling. The grooms arrived in matching neutral suits to begin their wedding day with a festive “meet-and-greet.” Mariachi Rey entertained the guests as they enjoyed pre-wedding food and beverage. After an hour of socializing it was time for the couple to get ready! Dressed in beautiful deep blue suits with bowties, the grooms helped each other get into their jackets.
Grooms Getting Ready
The Riviera Mansion has a spacious suite upstairs for the grooms to get ready. Before the ceremony, it was a perfect mini-getaway!
Ceremony
A dear friend officiated the nuptials. It was heartfelt with LOTS of tears of joy!
Reception
After their ceremony under the oak tree the lawn was quickly turned into dinner service. Modern gold centerpieces showcased the orange floral designs. The emotional toasts brought everybody to tears! After dinner Billy and Jason’s had their first dance as husband and husband. And they opened the dance floor for the guests to boogie the rest of the night!
